About the Artist ...

Dianne Mayne was born in 1950, in Massachusetts. As a dependent in the Air Force, she traveled extensively up until junior high school throughout the United States encountering many different cultures and art forms. Her most memorable was a one room school house in Ramore, Ontario she attended in second grade.

Dianne strives for realism in her work and uses only the finest materials available in her creations from polymer clay to earthenware clays. She is always searching for new techniques and incorporating new products to improve her style and skills.

With a burning desire to create, Dianne spent many hours of hard work studing books, videos, and taking workshops with accomplished artists. Her work is on display and for sale in several local art galleries, online shops and also through her website.
